Vivo is getting ready to launch its new V70 series in India soon. This includes two phones: the Vivo V70 and the more powerful Vivo V70 Elite.
The company has teased the launch with a special page on its website and Flipkart. Both phones will be sold on Flipkart in India. No exact launch date is out yet, but reports say it could happen in mid-February 2026.
These phones focus on great cameras, strong performance, and long battery life. They come with Zeiss lenses for better photos.

- Processor: Vivo V70 uses Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for good everyday speed. Vivo V70 Elite gets the stronger Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (on a 4nm chip) for faster performance and better gaming.
- Camera: Rear setup is triple with Zeiss tuning. It includes a 50MP main camera (with OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens (for zoom), and an ultra-wide lens. Front camera is 50MP for sharp selfies. There are also fun AI features like special portrait modes (including an India-exclusive AI Holi Portrait available for a limited time).
- Battery: Huge 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. It supports bypass charging to keep the phone cool while gaming or charging.
- Other Good Stuff: IP68 + IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. They run Android 16 with OriginOS 6. You get 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates. RAM is LPDDR5X type, storage is fast UFS 4.1. Vivo V70 Elite has extra perks like a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and X-Axis linear motor for better vibrations.
- Design and Colors: New square camera module. Vivo V70 comes in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow. Vivo V70 Elite in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black.
Expected Price
Reports suggest the series will be in the premium mid-range. Vivo V70 may start around ₹40,000-45,000. Vivo V70 Elite could be around ₹50,000-55,000 (some say near ₹55,000). Exact prices will be revealed at launch.
