Mahindra Vision S Cabin Shows New Design Style

Introduction

Mahindra & Mahindra shared digital images of the Vision S SUV’s cabin. They introduced four new concept SUVs at their Independence Day event. The Vision S is one of them and might lead to the next Bolero model. Its exterior has a fresh design, and the interior looks different from other Mahindra models.

Dashboard and Technology

The dashboard has two 12-inch digital screens separated by a vertical air vent. Mahindra may use a new operating system with updated graphics for these screens. The SUV will likely have controls for easy screen use. It also features a three-spoke steering wheel with touch-sensitive buttons for various functions.

Physical Controls

Unlike many modern cars that put all controls on a touchscreen, Mahindra brings back physical buttons for the center console. This includes a climate control panel and other key functions with easy-to-use buttons. The design helps drivers get used to the controls quickly.

NU.IQ Platform

The Vision S is built on Mahindra’s NU.IQ platform, which is very flexible. It supports vehicles from 3,990 mm to 4,320 mm in length, fitting both smaller and larger SUVs. Even with its compact size, it offers the roomiest cabin in its class for both 4.3 m and sub-4 m models. The platform supports front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, as well as left-hand and right-hand drive setups. With a 2,665 mm wheelbase and adjustable front (745-850 mm) and rear (550-805 mm) overhangs, it can handle different body styles and driving needs.
